Comments about 5/8 in. Hammer Drill:

A couple of days after I received this drill, my dad needed to drill mounting holes in some 1/4 inch steel channel - with a fresh bit we drilled 16 holes I. Succession and the drill never even got warm!

Comments about 5/8 in. Hammer Drill:

I have only had this drill for a week, but I used it to easily drill into brick so I could mount an American flag on my home. The drill worked really well.

Comments about 5/8 in. Hammer Drill:

I usually use the corded drill for the heavier work and this one fits the bill for a great price. I had a keyless chuck before and the chuck flew apart. I went back to a keyed chuck. Is still a super value.

          New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
          • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
          • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
          • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.

If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, Makita will repair (or at its option, replace without charge).

This Warranty does not apply where:
          • Repairs have been made or attempted by others
          • Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear
