Makita Standard Warranty
The Makita Standard Warranty applies to both new and factory-reconditioned Makita tools. Every Makita tool is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If you are not satisfied with any Makita tool within 30 days of purchase, return it and Makita will provide a replacement or refund. Each Makita tool is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of ONE YEAR from the date of original purchase. Should any trouble develop during this one-year period, return the COMPLETE tool, freight prepaid, to one of Makita's Factory or Authorized Service Centers.If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, Makita will repair (or at its option, replace without charge).
This Warranty does not apply where:
- Repairs have been made or attempted by others
- Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear
- The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
- Alterations have been made to the tool

Use this in a hobby shop. I am impressed with how strong it is. I have air impact tools, but this is just as strong and I don't have to drag hoses around.

I use the impact wrench at home for automotive projects and couldn't be more satisfied with it. Good torque, control and the battery life is excellent.

great product everything you should expect from makita. has good power and lasts a long time between charges. the only thing i dont like about it is the trigger, it is a huge rocker switch, which leaves you with supporting the heavy weight of the tool with only two fingers because the other two are on the trigger. but i do use it every day at work. the best part about it is the batteries, very powerful, and you can charge them anytime and it tops them off.

I love this tool for car work. Awsome power, strong hammer, just waht I was looking for!!
It is slightly weak for changing tires, but I guess a truck is a little tough anyway.
