Great fluorescent worklight. Excellent mate to other Makita cordless tools. We have a sheep barn & chicken coops without electricity and I'm much happier with an electric "flood" for tasks after dark. Not quite as bright as our white-gas lanterns but much better than kerosene. The recharge feature is teriffic. Not the handiest design for the incandescent bulb, but that's handy for moving with the lantern slung over the shoulder. Definatelty worth investing in if you already have LXT packs.

I use this whewn I need brite lite at dusk or full dark. Soldered some speaker wires the other nite & it was brite as day.

Have had LED trouble lights and this is much better then anyone I have used. Great battery life and good light output. The only negative is you have to press the switch twice to shut the light off. The spot light at the end is a pain and I recommend just removing the bulb.
