don't drop this battery the clips break
the battery is great but the design is flawed. With my excellent makita hammer drilldriver the tool built my house. I love it, howerver the tool has been dropped several times and the result is the small plastic clips snap and makes the battery free to fall out due to the vibration of the hammer drill. This heavy battery fell on a fellow worker. Not good ! This is why all the new batteries now slide horizontally rather then from below. These batteries are dangerous and should be designed with better clips
