I use this as a jobsite saw, as does nearly every other contractor I know. A ten inch saw is preferable as a twelve inch blade introduces "saw whip" to the equation, weigh's more and is more unwieldy to transport. I use this on the Dewalt stand.
Coworkers have this saw so I bought my own. It's a very smooth dependable saw. I highly recommend this product. Customer service was accommodating as well. The blade is a little shaky so spend the money and buy the diablo saw blades.
