Q:I have had my Green Works mower for over 5 years and love it but have on occasion hit things that have damaged the blade. I had it sharpened once but would just like to get a new blade. I am capable of installation, just want to know where/how to order a blade for the 18" electric side blow mower you now list at $125.
A:Th model you would need to order is Greenworks 29162 18 in. Replacment Lawn Mower Blade for $11.99.
Q:Can I use a 14 gauge 100 ft. extention cord with this product? What is the recommended length and gauge of the extention cord that should be used with this product?
A:14 gauge is too light for 12 amps at 100 feet; it would result in too much voltage drop. THAT will burn out the motor eventually. However, 12 gauge will work as the voltage drop will be only about 4 volts at 100 feet. Can't believe the "expert" cannot properly answer this question.
A:There isn't a recommended use of extension cord with this model, but from experience I would not use anything more than 100 ft anything more will result in less power to the unit.14 or 16 gauge would result in the best efficiency.
Q:What size electrical cord should be used with the Greenworks 25012 12 Amps electric lawn mower?
A:A 100 ft. cord is NOT Recommended to be used with this mower.
A:You can use a 100 foot extension cord. You just have to make sure that the wire gauge size is appropriate for the voltage and amperage draw.
