I always had trouble keeping gas chain saws running. This is a great little saw for me. Just slip in the battery and go. I cut up a big pine tree that the power company cut down for me in just a little while. I am a 73 year old female living alone who likes to take care of things myself. So ladies if you need a good saw this is it. I also love the fact that you don't need tools for adjusting the chain.
Have only had a chance to use the saw once so far, but made about 30 cuts through around 6 inch diameter logs for firewood with ease and without exhausting the battery. Looks like a well made tool. Perhaps it's a little on the heavy side due to the large capacity battery, but certainly not unmanagable.
what a great saw.. I have my doubts what about my first one.... but now I have thrillerI have my doubts what about my first 1 but now I have 3 of them...it has a great deal power the 4 amp hour battery lasts about 30 to 40 minutes of cutting time... it does best in wood less than 12 inches...it is quiet, powerful, and very eas to use. .. with a 3 batteries you could cut a cord of wood easy... so quiet that you can cut wood early on a Sunday with your neighbor right next to your fence...impressive power and easily goes threw any kind of wood..as long as you keep it out of the dirt...every one needs a saw like this around the house and even the farm...with 3 batteries you can cut for over 2 hours... great for cutting camp wood and for cleaning up downed limbs without disturbing the neighborhood. ..well built well thought out...even the wife will enjoy using it ....
