    Comments about MFT/3 Multi-Function Table:

I use this table primarily for cross cuts in wood when I don't have table saw access. There is enough play within all of the parts that the cuts are reasonably accurate, but I don't get consistient results from cut to cut if I were producing multiples pieces. With the holddowns and other available clamps, the table is great for sanding and joining though.

      Comments about MFT/3 Multi-Function Table:

This is a must. If you plan on buying festool tools than this should be your first purchase. Better than saw horses. Oh one more thing dont be afraid to cut the MDF top. Concentrate on your work piece, top is a cheap fix! I am on my 3rd top.

        Comments about MFT/3 Multi-Function Table:

This table combined with the TS plunge saws can replace your table saw for cutting plywood. Set up the fence once and check periodically and you can cut to finish size plywood without tear out on either side. It greatly increased how often I used the TS saw. It is also safer to use than a table saw.

With the clamps and stops it also works well for supporting the workpiece when using the Domino. Set next to the Kapex it provides a support for the board you are cutting. A nice system that is easy to setup and use.

          Comments about MFT/3 Multi-Function Table:

The MFT/3 is perfect for my small workspace. It folds neatly and stores easily. It's also a comfortable weight for easy transport. I take mine along to work sites and use it for a variety of things, including a mitre saw for stock 1.5" or less. For this it does take some careful aligning (squaring) of the track and rail. I think this might be improved slightly. Echoing another reviewer, the table is definitely functional beyond simply cutting; with the various clamps available I find my table useful for doing pocket hole construction for cabinets and window frames, basic cutting, sanding and more. The table is portable enough to fit into a car while standing sturdy enough for a worksite.

              Comments about MFT/3 Multi-Function Table:

Clearer instructions would have sped up initial setup but overall still a breeze. Table is sturdy. You can buy replacement tops (I dont baby my top... I actually cut into it)

My only regret is not discovering Festool earlier otherwise I would have bought the kapex. I bought a competitor saw which I am very happy with but its a beast to carry. Luckily for me I am only a hobbyist
