    Comments about Ratcheting Quick Clamp:

If you own or are considering purchasing a Festool MFT table, you'll need clamps that can work within the 20mm holes in the table top. So factor in another $60.00 plus dollars for Festool clamps in the price of the table. So far I've got 8 Festool clamps, and although they're not inexpensive, the provide amazing versatility with the MFT tables, guide rails...you name it. Pricey yes, but the Festool system is worth the money in my opinion. And these clamps are Festool quality.

        Comments about Ratcheting Quick Clamp:

Great clamp, and they totally integrate with the Festool system [mft tables, guide rails]

They have a nice range of compression from lite to death grip.

        Gripes:
they're not the easiest to use one-handed
they're finicky passing though the holes on an MFT top
        they're pricey

            Comments about Ratcheting Quick Clamp:

Buy these over the wood handscrew type. They cost only a bit more, but are truly one handed operation. The screw type can rotate on you if you don't have a grip on the handle. I've saved quite a bit of time using the quick release this clamp offers.

Well Made, But I Recommend Screw Clamps

                  Comments about Ratcheting Quick Clamp:

These are handy, no doubt about it. I guess I prefer the solid twist of a screw clamp. I like the Festool wooden handles for one. And I like that there's few parts to break over the long haul. Plus, they come in two sizes. Again, these are good clamps, well made and do the job. I suppose if I was a production worker and time was of the essence, sure, these would be preferable. Perhaps that's you? It's not me but I still would recommend them. I'd just recommend the screw clamps first (they are also less $'s).
