Comments about Connector for FS/2 Guide Rail:

You need 2 of these to connect two short tracks together to make it long enough to rip an 8' piece of plywood. It works. But if you're doing a lot of ripping of long pieces, you may want to splurge for the long track. If the wood it not flat, the front can become misaligned. I almost think this system needs some kind of wafer at the front of the track to make sure they stay aligned.

Comments about Connector for FS/2 Guide Rail:

The connector works well but you really need two of them to get a stable connection between two rails. If you only use one connector the connection is a little flimsy

I use these to join a pair of 55 inch guide rails when working with 8 ft. plywood for near perfect quick and easy cuts.

Comments about Connector for FS/2 Guide Rail:

I used a third rail to make sure it is aligned because I am paranoid. This is great because sometime you dont have room for full length rails in your car. My truck is a 5 series bmw and the seats dont go down. I can take a couple smaller rails with me for when I have to work on something outside my garage

These connectors make having a long guide rail portable.

                  They are sturdy and accurate.
