The description says this is lawnmower is self-propelled but some of the reviewers' comments indicate self-propelled can be turned on or off. What is the story? If answering this opens me up to endless emails, then do not answer. Be respectful of your customers.

According to the manual here is what it states about self-propelled:
*Once the mower has been started, the self-propelled feature is engaged by pulling the lower bail upward to meet the handle.
*To disengage the self-propelled feature, release the lower bail.

            • Q:

Well, actually I have two questions:

              1. What is the height of the push handle and is this height adjustable?

              2. Is there a cover for the battery compartment? (I would be removing the battery for charging & leaving the mower in a dusty garden shed.)
