When I saw the brand name I thought, "cordless." It's not cordless, and that's fine. It's heavy like it's supposed to be so you don't spend extra effort pressing down. It makes things flat. I wanted flat things for a reasonable price so I'm good.
This sander is bigger than a lot of the other sanders of this type. I bought it to replace another CPO tool that I wore-out. The first job was to finish sanding a set of cabinet doors I was refinishing. I had minor difficulty adjusting to the weight and size difference of this model. The sander did what it is supposed to do so I am satisfied with this tool, only time will tell how it holds up. I gave it only four stars because of the size and it can't be one of the best in my opinion until it gets further testing in my shop. I know I will continue to purchase refurbished tools from CPO, the tools are priced reasonably and are as good as new tools without exception.
Decent power, 2.6a motor, 1.5 inch dust port fits my smaller shop vac, keeps shop clean. Uses 8 hole sander pads. For this price, its a good buy.
It's Great sander and has alot of zap to it an use mostly on wood
I've been using this to refinish cabinetry. As long as I'm sanding a horizontal surface, it does great. When I'm on a vertical surface, it sands more unevenly, probably because it's harder to keep a level hold on it.
