Comments about 10 Amp 2 Peak Horsepower EVS Plunge Router:

use for general routing needs such as joints, shaping, design/decorative edging. Using the speed control you can make smooth controlled cuts with ease. However upon first us the bit eventually shot out of the router (never good) but was likely due to hitting a knot in the wood and possible residual cleaning solution or other on the shank to the bit (i hope).

I found this router to be a good size and easy to work with. I also like the extra spacer that came with it for the smaller router bit diameters.

This is the second Ryobi router I have owned. The first one is about 5 years old and still going strong. I purchased the second one so I don't have to take the other one out of the router table when I need a free standing unit.
