I bought this kit to replace an orignal 4-piece Ryobi box set (which included the flashlight and reciprocal saw) that I had used for 20+ years to repair, renovate, expand and you-name-it on a 120-year-old house. I used and abused that set for all it was worth, replacing the batteries twice, but never having a tool break down on me. I've since retired and sold that house, and treated myself to a new set which I expect will last me forever (and which cost about as much as a set of replacement batteries for the old one). These tools work great and hold up great, and the new (for me) charging system is much better than the old one. Look, you shouldn't use these tools to build a house (even though I pretty much did), but for DIY repairs & projects the bottom line is- buy this kit!

Just bought my 1st home & have used this a bit, but have a longtime homebuilder schoolin' me & he keeps hogging it. Also, a couple of my other DIY homeowner buddies pointed me in the Ryobi kit direction, so guess I'm a quick learner.
