been looking for a few months to replace my 30 plus year old saw, so glad I waited and again so pleased with purchase.
Ordered and received very quickly, but saw was damaged. Sent back and received another in a few days (I was surprised). CPO paid for the return (another surprise). The latest one appears to have been used, and the blade isn't carbide tipped like the first saw, but I'm still pleased with my purchased.
This saw better than my 3 other saws.
very pleased with cpo reconditioned tools.
Easy to deal with!

Q:I have one of these saws could u tell does it have a safety to start it. I have not used it in a while . Thank you
A:This circular saw is equipped with a pre-travel safety switch which reduces the possibility of accidental starting. When you depress the switch, the saw will not start until you reach the pre-travel position. You must depress the switch fully to activate the saw.
