Comments about 12 Amp 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw:

Nice saw for [$]. Rips and cuts fine for general usage. Put a 24 tooth freud blade in it and it does a great job. Don't know why folks knock Ryobi products as I have some that are 8 + years old and still work well.

Comments about 12 Amp 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw:

Purchased for my son and works well. Can't beat it for [$]. I did buy a two pack of the fred 24 tooth carbide blades from the local [@] and it cuts like a hot knife thru butter. Ryobi is a good value for the average homeowner / woodworker.Have several of their products and have used them for years without a single one failing.

This is my first saw so I don't really have anything to compare it to. But, it's easy to use and quite powerful. I used it to make my Top Bar - bee hive. I was able to cut the bars (seen in photo) out of 1 x 4's with this saw.
