Comments about 8 Amp 1/2 in. Heavy-Duty Variable Speed Reversible Drill:

The drill came in it's own soft case that looked bran new. The ridgid drill itself has very minor cosmetic damage. It is very powerful, admittedly more drill than I will probably ever need in DIY projects. Works fantastic and well worth the money vs. buying new.new.

Comments about 8 Amp 1/2 in. Heavy-Duty Variable Speed Reversible Drill:

This is a powerful drill in a relatively compact package compared to some of the other 1/2" drills I have seen. I found out the hard way that it's plenty powerful enough to strip the heads of square-head deck screws (I should have pre-drilled holes). I am looking forward to using the drill for some mixing applications this weekend.

Comments about 8 Amp 1/2 in. Heavy-Duty Variable Speed Reversible Drill:

I have bought many, many drills throughout the years. I am very hard on my tools - I bought my Ridgid drill after killing my last drill, drilling into my concrete garage floor. Brought this drill home and it made easy work of the job, even leaning against the drill with most of my body weight while drilling into the concrete driveway surface with a 1/2 inch bit - failed to slow this drill down. This drill takes the punishment without complaint. I love this drill - have owned it for 3 years now and still running strong! It was this drill that got me into buying and relying on all Ridgid power tools when I make a power tool purchase.
