        Comments about Collated Screw Gun:

I'm hanging drywall by myself in 4 rooms, and a collated screw gun should make the job much easier and faster. Unfortunately. this screw gun spits out 20 to 30% of the screws that I attempt to drive. Even worse, the driver bit stops spinning on about every second sheet of drywall, making it necessary to stop. disassemble the drive mechanism, play around with the bit until it re-engages, re-assemble the tool and then get back to work.

                  Comments about Collated Screw Gun:

I am a DIY person but work in the construction industry as well. This was a great tool at half the price. Fast shipping, no visual marks on the tool when received. I installed over 600sf of drywall with this and even dropped it several times onto the concrete floor. Keeps right on going just like it was designed to.

Plan to use for drywall. But first attempt was installing fencing. Like the ability to have the screws at the ready rather than handling each one individually.

There is a slight learning curve.

Replacement bits for the Ridgid corded collated screw gun(model # R6791). Where is the best place to get them, and is there a compatible Senco part number that will work? From what I understand these screw guns are actually made by Senco. They probably built them with an oddball bit that only Ridgid sells.
