Q:is this gun sequential fire? or just single fire
A:This unit has a tool free selectable trigger to change between contact and sequential actuation modes
Q:How does this perform with a smallish compressor, say 135 psi, 3.5 gal? Is there a delay in recovery for the next nail and how much? Anyone know? thanks.
A:You need 90 to 120 psi depending on hardness of wood and the distance of the hose(s). 3.5 gallon is a smaller tank (larger tanks hold reserve air, this allows the user to use the nailer longer between compressor cycling times. In other words more air at a longer duration), you need to look at the cfm rating. CFM (cubic feet per minute) is the indication of how long the pump will run to satisfy the tank and usable pressure. 3.5 is good if you are not going to use it continuously ie sanding, air tools etc. I have a small rigid compressor that I use only for framing and finish work. It works great and will be noisy and cycle a lot more than a larger tank, I just run a longer hose so that I am not in ear shot of the compressor itself.
A:Having a larger compressor will of course decrease the time spent reaching the psi desired. But, at 135psi there should not be an issue with firing frequency for as long as the smaller tank can provide the desired psi
