Good tool and did the job, but I also have a worm drive saw and I ended up using that most of the time. The Rigid does everything it was sold to do, but I prefer something with a little more weight that won't jump around as much when making long or difficult cuts.
Recently started using--don't have the perspective of time. This saw seems great in a lot of ways--solid but light weight, good design. But the blade has a lot of runnout.Returned the first one [...] because of the excessive wobble I could see. The replacement seems better but its still noticeable. The other issue is the depth adjustment is fussy. There are supposed to be some detent clicks at common depth settings and the depth adjust lever is adjustable. This didnt work for me--it just gets stuck at the different depths and is hard to move. So I adjusted it to work for me. That might be engineering that we are paying for that doesn't work or just my recon'ed unit.Seems like it will work alright, but it won't yield a really clean cut with the wobble--not really a trim saw.
