Comments about 15 Amp 12 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw With Adjustable Laser:

The large table moves smoothly especially after a dose of WD40. My saw's laser doesn't come on unless the motor is running. I'm still analyzing this as it is weird. Either that or it's a design fault. Dust is a real issue. I will be making a custom dust grabber as what's there is almost useless. I can set my Festool miter saw up in someone's house, hook it to a dust extractor and not even get dust on the wood I'm cutting. I have difficulty moving the table to where I want it if the degree setting I'm attempting to get is next to a detent. Might need some tinkering with. This is a mostly adequate saw with heavy duty capabilities.

Comments about 15 Amp 12 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw With Adjustable Laser:

The laser only seems to come on when the motor receives power.
I find it difficult to select angles close to the detents.
Saw is quite heavy that could be a PRO or a CON I suppose- Stable but not all that easy to move around.

Comments about 15 Amp 12 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw With Adjustable Laser:

Worked well on 1 1/2" birch hardwood stair treads and 3/4" risers. Fun to cut the 1/4" round and baseboards.

Would like to see a suggested stand on the website and designs to build your own.

Comments about 15 Amp 12 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw With Adjustable Laser:

I am back again with a second review. My saw is still working everyday, everyday. I make furniture and also do design work for log homes.
Cuts are perfect (if you have a good eye). I use this saw to cut into logs and hardwood hickory saplings. The best word that I can say to anyone out there is buy this saw and don't waste your money on those other ones. Great warranty (didn't need it) good customer phone service. Very powerful and worth every penny. Go for it.

Great product. I wish it had a longer sliding arm, but hey... maybe when I grow up and get a little more money I'll by the both of us one. :)
