Purchased this just over a year ago from CPO and never got to use it do to a move and some other life changes. Opened it up this weekend to do some light sanding. First off it had a very noticeable vibration when powered up. I got about 30 minutes of light use out of it and it froze up. Refuses to spin the sanding belt yet I can spin it by hand. Looked up when I purchase it and it was 2/26/13 so I am SOL on the warranty. Not at all impressed with the quality and definitely not worth the price. Now I have a nice big orange paperweight. For the price buy a new one with the three year warranty as the savings is not worth the price.
I build bandsaw boxes and this tool has made the finishing faster and neater.
Home shop use
I've known about this product for some time. I decided to acquire it with a specific project in mind and after initial setup was very happy with its performance. A Great Machine.
Sanding curves with the spindles works great. Belt sander works well also can change from belt to spindle in 10 seconds. Vacuum port is standard to shop vac and cleans up well. Heavy built where needed, but plastic in places that don't matter to save weight. Can lift and move with built in recessed handles makes it easy to put tool on the bench and use it and then back on the shelf for storage. Hard to believe it is used.
