          • Scrench Holder Not Good

          Best Uses

            I have used a lot of chainsaws over the years and this is by far the best. This weekend we fell about 20 trees up to 26 inches in diameter and this chainsaw did it quickly and easily. The only issue we had is with the scrench holder. I thought having the holder on the saw was a great idea but it was not secure and fell off. As most of us know, it is a good idea to keep several screnches around. Poulan should make the scrench fit into a pocket vertically. Other than that, the saw performed like a champ. It started quickly every time. It should be noted that it goes through a lot of chain/bar oil so buy it by the gallon and keep extra on hand.

            • Anything Less Than 18"

            The price on this chain saw was so great I had to try it. My expectations were mixed. I have had many successes with factory refurbs, but this was priced even under what I thought was a great refurb price. The order experience at Tyler Tool was superb! Shipping was FREE on a CHAIN SAW!! The saw was delivered on time and in good condition except for the air filter, which looked like it was just cleaned and not replaced. My first test for the saw was, in my opinion, a solid test: 4 big trees, several small trees, and a lot of brush. The saw started and ran when the choke has pulled to half. It never ran off choke. I ended up having to control the chain speed from the choke, which didn't bother me since it started and ran and performed flawlessly on all the tasks I tested it on. I am, over all, very pleased with this chain saw and extremely pleased with Tyler Tool. I will do business again and have already recommended this company to others.

                  Haven't has this very long but have used it fairly heavily and its done what its supposed to do. I was a little disappointed when I got it - the bar had a bit of surface rust and it was difficult to start the first few times. There was also some old sawdust inside the side housing. After the first day of faily heavy use (maybe three or four tanks of gas) it got much easier to start and now I like it. It runs nice and has decent power. Cuts 20inch diameter maple logs with ease.

                          Saw showed heavy use, had caked on sawdust and leaked bar oil in to the box it was shipped in.

                          Certainly not a "Class A" anything.

                          Will never buy from Tyler Tool again and will mention it on several forums.

                            You mention it may not come with all accesories. I assume it will come with a bar and chain and be ready for use---right?

                          New Vs. Reconditioned

                          Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

                          • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
                          • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
                          • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee;
                            New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
