Another excellent Milwuakee product. I'm new to Milwuakee cordless, and have now purchased a number of other Milwuakee M12 products. The LED power bar is Very handy to make sure I have good battery BEFORE crawilng down the rat hole, and the LED front facing lamps are a God send in cramped, dark places.

Comments about 12V Cordless M12 3/8-in Drill Driver:
I make furniture and during assembly have several screw/drill guns standing by for different functions/applications: 3/8"drill bit, #8 drill bit w/countersink, phillips head bit, #2 square drive bit, T22 drive bit, etc. I have several brands because they are all pretty good and I look for sales! The 12V Milwaukee is OK but the chuck loosens up. I tighten it as much as I can, but after a few uses, it's loose! Have used many models/brands for many years and never experienced this before. It's not a deal breaker for me because I like the weight/size of this tool and the battery life is decent.

I bought it to replace my Makita which the battery was dead. It has way more power and handles better in all positions. I am Milwaukee through and through.

Comments about 12V Cordless M12 3/8-in Drill Driver:
After using a 18 volt drill, this 12 volt one is lacking on power in the high range. I can keep the chuck from turning with my hand. Low range seems to be ok to put screws in with, just a little slower. I wouldn't buy this drill to anything more than to drill little holes, or put screws in softer/thin materials. The light goes out right after letting go of the trigger. The Makita drills keep shining for a few seconds, which is nice to line up the drill. The bottom line, get a 18 volt drill, weighs a little more, but much more versatile.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about 12V Cordless M12 3/8-in Drill Driver:
Lots of power. Had a 12 V Dewalt drill and it had nowhere near the power of this unit. Plus the LED lights in the nose are great. You can turn them on before starting the drill to allow correct placement of the bit or driver. A nice state of the art unit.
