      Comments about 5/8-in Hammer Drill:

      I usually use the corded drill for the heavier work and this one fits the bill for a great price. I had a keyless chuck before and the chuck flew apart. I went back to a keyed chuck. Is still a super value.

        Comments about 5/8-in Hammer Drill:

        Front handle gives the drill a good balance and control of the unit. Variable speed and reverse also add to the versatility. Has a nice torque band and since I am an advocate of duribility, the drill has so far met all my expectations.

        Comments about 5/8-in Hammer Drill:

        I liked this drill motor so much I purchased another for my second home. A great powerful, large capacity tool that can be used as a regular and hammer drill. This is not my primary drill. I use a compact battery, adjustable driver/drill most of the time. But when I need the larger hole drilled or when working w/ concreat, this is what I use.

        Comments about 5/8-in Hammer Drill:

        Hammer drilling into concrete and cinderblock is great. The only downside is once the chuck goes after heavy use, it is difficlt to change drill bits and the chuck is next to impossible to replace, making it necessary to purchase a new tool.
        For me this took about 4 years, though, which isn't bad!

          New Vs. Reconditioned

          Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

          • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
          • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
          • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee;
            New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
