I like the value of the Hammer Drill, and at 10amp it should have plenty of power. I have not used it yet, I usually use it around the house and in small projects, but only time will tell me
how it will perform. I had another Dewalt Hammer Drill, but it only lasted about 3 years in small
jobs, the Drill still works but does not hammer.

I have a dewalt hammerdrill with a 6.7 amp motor but burned it out using it with a paddle mixer to mix a batch of thinset. Will the 10 amp drill be able to handle the load? I have more batches to mix

    BEST ANSWER: Hi Wayne,

10 amps is considerably more power than than 6.7 amps. Higher amps also normally means higher rpms which is what you will need for this application. We would recommend the 10 amp motor over the 6.7 amp.

    New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
    • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
    • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
    • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
