This is a great saw, accurate right out of the box, and works great. I do feel that the extensions and laser should be included with the saw, even if it means pricing the saw a little higher.

As a professional stair builder I know the difference between a quality professional grade tool and a tool designed for the weekend warrior/handyman. This saw was designed with the pro in mind. every feature of the saw is very well thought out. even with a 10" blade this saw has a bigger cut capacity than 90% of the 12" saws on the market. The horizontal slide mechanism is a big improvement over the earlier vertical model I once owned. very little motor jerk at startup and smooth solid operation overall. I now only use my 12" saw for its capability of cutting taller stock nested vertically. I have all my blades re-sharpened but when I do need to purchase new ones they are a fraction of the cost of a comparable 12" blade. couldnt be more pleased with this saw.
