I received a defective unit but give credit to the customer sat team who made the return process easy and hassle free. Only down side was having to cart the 80lb beast to the FedEx "Return" center. You can't just take it to any FedEx center.
The unit is compact, ran extremely quiet and I love the foam filled wheels.

great product very happy with it looks brand new got it out of the box all ready to run no leaks easy to move people complain its heavy but compared to others its not bad for the scfm and then being on wheels that helps alot

I am a bit concerned about the durability of the tank / compressor setup, since it is NOT a little rust water but a rather large,large aka massive amount of rust with the water when I drain the tank daily. Did the previous owner submerge this compressor for several months? I have to EXTRA be-careful where i discharge or drain the tank since the rust water gets all over everything like a thick paint. I plan to install a water/rust filter between pump and my tools to semi protect my expensive tools from contamination or damage.

Well... The thing is heavy. I fired it up and started doing the break-in things and it fills fast and is fairly quiet for the size it is. The couplings on the front here shot so I replaced them with Milton quick connect and they work much better.There is some drippy paint that doesn't match very will from the reconditioning--not a big deal as it will get beat up on a site anyways. I filled it and let is sit for a couple hours as I heard a very tiny air leak--and it seems deeper in the motor, like the copper connection to the motor, I plan on tearing into it sometime to track it down as I hate leaks and that leads to unnecessary minutes and hours on the unit. Hopefully this unit hangs in there as I have purchased "cheap" compressors that seem to have less apparent issues on opening... We'll see, I am on the fence still but will remain optimistic! Although--I have used it to trim out a room and clean out some machines with air and it worked flawlessly.

I have been buying reconditioned tools now for over a year and CPO is the best.Every tool has been like new and I have saved hundreds. This dewalt compressor works great. I have the 2.5 hp double tank and this one is better. The 2.5 is louder and runs way more. This 1.8 hp runs less and keeps up with 2 framer nail guns. I am very happy. Thanks
