Stanley Fastening Systems, L.P. 7 Year Limited Warranty (1 Year for Reconditioned Products) - U.S. and Canada Only
Effective December 1, 2005 Bostitch, L.P. warrants to the original retail purchaser that the product purchased is free from defects in material and workmanship, and agrees to repair or replace, at Bostitch's option, any defective Bostitch branded pneumatic stapler or nailer for a period of seven (7) years from date of purchase (one (1) year from the date of purchase for reconditioned pneumatic staplers or nailers and for new and reconditioned compressors and tools used in production applications). Warranty is not transferable. Proof of purchase date required. This warranty covers only damage resulting from defects in material or workmanship; it does not cover conditions or malfunctions resulting from normal wear, neglect, abuse, accident or repairs attempted or made by other than our national repair center or authorized warranty service centers. Driver blades, bumpers, o-rings, pistons and piston rings are considered normally wearing parts. For optimal performance of your Bostitch tool always use genuine Bostitch fasteners and replacement parts.
This warranty IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND with respect to compressors and tools used in production applications, limits to a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase all implied warranties INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. BOSTITCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Did a bit of research and the Bostich kit was rated very high especially since it came packaged with three different nail guns.
Have a small vacation home at the Jersey Shore and there was alot of work to be completed and this kit made the job much easier. Was able to secure the new Luan to the subfloor easily and quickly with the staple gun. New base molding was a snap with the nailer.
First time user with air tools and was impressed how easy it made the job. I'm actually looking for other projects that I can use them on as it is fun. For the price and what you receive it can't be beat. Purchased the refurbised package to save some cash and it arrived quickly and as new.
Only con is that the compressor only has one outlet line. It would have been nice to have two lines/nailers connected at the same time.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this for a renovation project in my home and for general use in my shop. After checking with CPO's info e-mail, I also purchased a 28 degree wire-weld framing nailer to use with it. Ths compressor works great with the guns that come with the kit. I have yet to experience a jam, misfire or any other problem. It powers the framing nailer, but runs far more than the recommended 50% duty cycle time to do it. So, in spite of CPO's assurance, I wouldn't recommend it for use with one. The compressor is also loud. Nevertheless, I consider this kit to be of overall good quality. It's simple to use, which is good because the instruction manuals are not especially clear, nor are they well illustrated. All together, this kit is a bargain at the price, but if you want to use a framer, you'll want something with more air capacity.

Got this as a Christmas gift two years ago. I've used the tools with another compressor since then. Took the compressor out of the box for the first time today and the pressure regulating knob was stripped. Never even used it. Researched the web to find that this is a common problem with this unit. Some had received new part at no charge. Called Cust serv and was told I'd have to buy it @ $13.67 plus shipping. Never again buying Stanley/Bostitch.
