Comments about 2-in-1 Brad Nailer & Compressor Combo Kit:

Problem is the belt drive. This unit does not like to lose power. If it loses power and the power comes back on it will burn up the belt. This happened once a few weeks ago cause my generator went off and my helper went back and started it back up. Well the generator stopped while the compressor was pumping and when it started back up it fried the belt.

Then yestereday was working with dumb framers who kept popping the breaker on the T pole. So it fried the belt again from power loss. Idk if this is because of a bad capacitor or something but it certainly does not like power surges. If your professional id recommend a direct drive compressor.

It performed fine in every other aspect. I install windows and was using it to nail 1x4 to concrete.

The coupling on the first compressor was jammed. They replaced the entire kit but forgot the hose which they had to shipp a few days later due to holiday hours.

We will need to know the CFM requirements for that impact wrench in order to answer this question.

No it will not handle it, also does not handle air ratchets.

Most 1/2" impacts want you to have at least a 7 gal compressor. I have tried to run mine on a similarly spec'd porter cable and while it does run you only get full power for a few seconds before you have to let the tank recharge. It will do 1 lug nut maybe 2 before you have to wait to get full power back.
