Can use this to miter flooring and base board, quarter round, etc. Can think of a lot of other uses - deck, build a shed and finish the basement. Can build stuff for closets to better organize and this say will make all the cuts! Nice saw - nothing to compromise - got it all with this one for a great price. Got the T4B stand and this is totally portable and mobile - easy to set up - very quick. Little mess with wet/dry vac. connection. Sharp and all calibrated - out of the box!

Saw is easy to use, and is very accurate. Everything operates very smoothly, and the upfront controls are great.
It's a little heavy I guess, but what can you expect with a saw this big. The dual handles make this not that big of an issue.
The first saw I received had been damaged in shipping, however when I called CPO to let them know I had received a damaged product, they immediately shipped out a replacement. I was very happy with their customer service!!

Very happy with this saw. I purchased this and a reconditioned table saw. I ordered it one morning and both arrived the next morning with free shipping. Both saws look like they are brand new. Wonderful company. Buying here saved me about 450 dollars compaired to going to a retail store.

After reading reviews and checking out various double bevel, sliding, miter saws I chose the 12" Bosch. It has performed better than expected. Setup was easy so I was working soon after opening the box; calibration was easy and almost unnecessary. It is definately a great saw.

I like the product thus far. The only faults I have found pertain to the depth stop. Although a wrench is provided for other, infrequently-made adjustments, none is provided for the lock nuts used to adjust the depth stop. (It's 14mm). Also, the depth stop should have a larger range, allowing one to stop the depth virtually at the maximum cut possible (e.g., a 2 x 6 positioned vertically). Concerning the weight, it IS portable, and the weight is probably needed for good accuracy and function, but you don't want to have to carry it far.

I bought a reconditioned model. I've bought reconditioned items before, but this saw was USED. It looks like someone literally dragged this thing down the road...upside down. I'm ok with "blemishes" but this was scraped and worn so bad that half of one of the screws on the motor housing is worn down in half. Clearly no one ever removed the motor housing to check the motor and bearings when it was "reconditioned". If I wanted a used saw, I would have saved some money and gone to [@]. Otherwise, the saw works well. I'm glad I got the 12" over the 10" due to the greater cutting depth. I can almost cut a 6x6 with this saw. Adjustment features on the front are also easy to use. The clamping feature is a bit lame, but works well enough for light trim pieces.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It's a great saw, I've been using bosch for many years and this is the best. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it arrived with a broken handle, I sent an email and no one ever responded.
