I bought the reconditioned version of this vacuum. I was amazed when I opened the box. It looked brand new.
I immediately tried the special pet hair attachment on my sofa. My dog has short hair, but he sheds a lot and I think the short hair is almost harder to get out of the sofa fiber. It was hard to tell at first if it was working. Then I opened the door to clean it and it was full of pet hair.
I use it around the house to quickly clean up little messes and in my car.

I like the fact that it comes with different tools and the hose. It reaches into spots like behind the fridge and under counters. Choice of using as shown or flip-up the brush and use the hose to reach spider webs! The only problems is that the stiffer dog hairs sometimes get caught in the outer filter, which blocks some space. I also like the fact that you carry your tools wherever you go. It is a small vacuum, but it's strong enough to pick up larger pieces of dog food. Disposing is a little awkward because you have this clasp on the side that has to be opened while holding the vacuum sideways. Since there is no bags it saves money but it is still a little vacuum that has a small cup for disposal. The Filter takes up a lot of space, but it is reusable and keeps a lot of the dust inside. I would have liked to be able to remove the "dirt"cup, but I am happy to empty the cup more than having to pay more money for bags and filters.
