The New Drill Doctor DDSB Spade and Twist Bit sharpener is the newest innovation from Drill Doctor! This multi function tool sharpens spade bits from 1/4-in - 1-1/2-in; including the most common types of spade bits: with spurs, without spurs, screw points, skew cutters and the small spear point bits. The twist bit module sharpens a wide range of twist drills from 3/32-in - 1/2-in to a standard 118 degree point; including High Speed Steel (HSS), Titanium Coated (TiN), Masonry and Cobalt type drills. Both sharpening modules feature easy to use precision alignment systems to ensure ease of use and repeatable results. Twist bits are sharpened with a user replaceable premium diamond grinding wheel and the spade bits are sharpened with a long lasting profiled vitrified wheel designed for cool grinding. This tool is assembled and quality tested in Ashland, Oregon and has a 3 year warranty. Includes a Quick Start Guide and Instructional DVD.

I tried it out the same day I received it. So easy to learn, the training DVD was great. The bits I sharpened were better then new. After I finish all of my bit, I will do my son-in-laws drill bits. I can say it is a
really easy and fun tool to use. Way to go Drill Doctor and CPO Outlet.

I consider myself a top-notch tool sharpener, especially drills. After watching a friend use his DD, I bought one for myself. Drill sharpening time, especially for the smaller sizes is drastically reduced. Best of all, the flutes are perfectly centered making for precise holes. The spade bit sharpener really impressed me, eliminating tedious hand sharpening with a die grinder. Again, making perfectly symmetrical flutes.
