Disappointing

By ultravibe

Comments about Dremel Multi-Max Universal Carbide Flush Cut Blade:

Bought it just last night, used it for less than 20 minutes and it was done. NOT normal quality for Dremel - I love just about everything else I own from them, but this was just bad.

Works well for wood, drywall

By Jakob

from Charlotte, NC, United States

Comments about Dremel Multi-Max Universal Carbide Flush Cut Blade:

I love the versatility of the cutting tool, and it works especially well with Drywall and Wood. I went through two of these on a 1200sqft house remodel. which included replacing a bunch of drywall and a few walls. Unfortunately, the Carbide coating seemed to not work very long. After cutting into the wood for 10-20 mins, the bit looked about the same as a non-carbide bit and lasted about the same as well.

Blade doesn't do the job!! Very disappointing!

By klkski

from Chesapeake, VA, United States

Comments about Dremel Multi-Max Universal Carbide Flush Cut Blade:

I hoped that the problem was fixed and the blades now worked. NOPE ... I need to trim a 2" strip off the top of the wall tile in an alcove in the guest bath to allow for the new countertop and backsplash to be installed on the new sink base. Two blades later, I have barely scratched the surface of the tile (approx. 4ft worth). I then bought the Dremel saw which works great, except I can't get in the corners. Heading back to the store ... maybe another manufacturer has something that will work. Not a happy camper~!~ waste of time and money!

Didn't last...

By Zeke

Comments about Dremel Multi-Max Universal Carbide Flush Cut Blade:

I had to cut two wood screws holding casing trim together. Teeth wore away after one use. Very disappointed.

terrible blade

By bbent843

from Philadelphia, PA, United States

Comments about Dremel Multi-Max Universal Carbide Flush Cut Blade:

Bought this blade to do a receptacle cutout in 1/4" thick porcelain tile. As others have mentioned the carbide coating began to come off in minutes and after 30 minutes of cutting there was only a slight divot in the tile. I needed to do two cutouts but had to stop in the middle of my first. That alone would have taken all day with the dremel.
