        Comments about Chuck:

again added this to my sons arsenal of dremel attachments that I'm purchasing for xmas. Should make changing bits faster and with all the attachments that I'm providing for him this could be one of the cheapest yet one of the best choices I've made. since he has several different dremels I may purchase at least one more before I'm finished.

              Comments about Chuck:

I like not having to change collets for different bit shank sizes. It facilitates changing bits quickly but, unlike a typical drill chuck, hand tightening is not tight enough and you need to use the wrench to tighten.

                  A:

According to the manual this chuck can be used with the F013039519. However, it states the chuck should not be used with grout removal bits.

              • Chuck

                Q:

I have a chuck that I got a long while back but can not figure out how to make it work. Maybe something is missing. What pushes the 3 section grippers forward and back? Mine has the outer part, the three piece grippers and an end cap that attaches to the dremel.

                Is something missing?

                thanks,
                John

                1 answer

                • A:

You have to twist the chuck to the left to open the grip and to the right to tighten.
