Used to rip 3/4 oak flooring for an 1800 ft. job. Cut through it without issues, plenty of power. Used to rip plywood as well. Very portable, easy to move and set up. I love the fence

I decided to give Dewalt DW744xrs a place in my tool arsenal. I am not disappointed. There were some minor adjustments to make initially. You can tell that considerable thought went into the design and quality control and production of this tool. The stand is unique while the stock Dewalt 24 tooth blade works well, I replaced it with a Forrest Woodworker II 40 tooth blade with blade stiffener. Big difference in cutting result being very stable. The saw is powerful, making very good use of every part of the 15 amp motor. I have very good results cutting 5/4 oak and birch paneling and various moldings. I am using the DW744xrs in a current remodel and enjoy using it. I have a large cabinet saw, but prefer using the Dewalt. In my opinion it is a great saw!

The rolling stand is rugged enough for jobsite terrain. Easy set up, and the rip fence is unmatched. Plenty of power even for hardwoods.
