          My first dw660 has over 1000 hours of abuse as a CNC wood router spindle- only needed 1 set of brushes and bearings- I like it so much I bought 2 more for 2 CNC machines. I have an external speed control, but it would be nice if it was built in.... Low vibration, no noticable shaft wobble (cuts clean and true)easy to mount in my machine. hand tighten/release works good, still use a wrench for high speed/deep cut application though.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I thought I would be able to use it to cut out plywood and masonite up to maybe 3/8" but it doesn't appear so.

            I purchased a rebuilt so it was a good investment anyway for the money.
