I bought this combo kit as recon tools. Big mistake. The first shipment that arrived the tools were arcing at the brushes like they hadn't been repaired. They were beat up and in bad shape. Sent those back and was sent a replacement free of charge. The second shipment was more of the same. Split cases on the drill housings and beat up. I opted for a refund and plan on purchasing a new similar product. CPO did a good job handling the situation and I'm pleased with how they took care of me. My issues all lie with the tool manufacturer for putting out a poor reconditioned unit.

I am familiar with most of the tools DeWalt offers, having owned or presently own the majority of them. One major complaint I have had for years was the lack of an easy to attach belt clip. Now that the 20 volt Li Ion tools come with the advantage of having that feature, its a major selling point for me.
Unfortunately, for some strange reason, the Driver/Hammer Drill does not come with a belt clip, and you will end up paying more for the shipping cost than the clip costs. Had I known the tool did not include the belt clip, I would have ordered one to be shipped together.
Very strong tools and exceptional battery life. Extremely bright led on both tools. No noticeable drain on battery life.

This is a great drill and impact driver kit. The drill is powerful for the tougher jobs, yet is lightweight for less fatigue. The impact driver has alot of torque for a smaller tool.
