I cannot rate the saw because I have not used it. It was a requested Christmas gift for my son. He builds lots of things our of square tubing so I feel like it will make his farm projects faster to build.

These saws work as good or better than any abrasive wheel saw.I wish that they could come up with a more user friendly vice design,straight cuts are no problem but,anything else is cumbersome.

The Dewalt name always stands for quality, but this chop saw is not Dewalt quality. The third time I tightened the vise, the handle fell off.
The vise fixed jaw doesn't have enough holding
force from the wimpy locking arm. So the vise keeps moving out of square. There are no quick angle settings like ther are on a wood chop saw.

Cut all shapes of steel,the saw cuts fast. The alignment mark for the vise is not accurate, need to use a square to line up the vise to get a square cut. The saw is new to me don't know how long it will last.Bought for price,and fast delivery,CPO delivered on both counts.
