Comments about 1-3/4 in. SDS-Max Combination Hammer Kit with SHOCKS and CTC:

bought to do some demo on my basement, and to set anchors for structures in concrete. Haven't set any anchors yet, but it's a great tool for the demo work - it's not monster, but it's solid. It's also not so heavy that I dread using it to drill holes in a wall while standing on a ladder. The antivibration stuff does a pretty good job, too, which is really nice.

Comments about 1-3/4 in. SDS-Max Combination Hammer Kit with SHOCKS and CTC:

Used this Rotary Hammer to drill holes in block without any problem, take up a vinyl floor tile, with a chisel bit, to dig up a gas line in tough soil and rock. The power is great and I really love the way you can adjust the chisel bit in various positions, real great feature to take up a floor. Allows you to change the way you grip the tool and helps to lessen the fatigue on your hands and arms. Used with a good 1/2 inch bit to make holes in block for anchors, drilled like butter.

            New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
            • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
            • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
            • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
