Was easy to assemble, The table degree pointer was off so had to align the table with a square. Not a problem. The arm lock is a great feature for fret work.

This machine is a delight to use. The ease of assembly and the sturdy stand adds to the smooth operation of this saw. There is little to no vibration while cutting which also makes it's a comfort when handling your material that is being cut. You just guide your material and the saw does the work.
It makes it an ease in making intricate designs that take a steady hand and a stable machine.
I just wish we had a local dealer for Delta products.

This machine is too quite and there is no vibration at all. Cuts so clean you almost don't need to sand anymore.

I was very excited when my Delta scroll saw came. I put it together and the engineering was perfect until I tried to install the blade. The upper blade clamp was off by a quarter of an inch. Not only did the upper blade clamp not align with the lower one, the blade rubbed against the opening. After three calls to Delta, I was told to return the saw to the distributor.

I can't find anything wrong with the unit
It was easy to set up
Unit is not even bolted to the floor yet
And there is no vibration what so ever, very smooth cutting
Providing you use the guard/hold down properly
I even used it to do coping on small moldings
