Comments about 20 in. Variable Speed Scroll Saw:

I think this is a great saw. Easy to install blades, which is important to me. It has a great table area to work on, and is nice and heavy to avoid vibrations. Unfortunately, it was delivered with the hose unattached. I tried everything iI could, including calling the manufacture, but I could not re-attach the hose. I had to send it back. The people at Tyler Tool were SUPER!!!! I will probably order another one from Tyler.

Problems: Assembly directions are a joke. Don't bother reading them, just forge ahead.
For the price they charge, the saw should come with a light attached, not as an after market purchase.
I can guess why it doesn't have one, but I still wish it had a vacuum port. It would make clean up a lot easier.

In spite of all this, it still is a lot better saw than my old Skill Scroll Saw, and I would recommend it to others.

I have always had a good opinion of Delta and this machine is as good as their reputation. Virtually no vibration and easily cut one inch material with out wandering off course.

Comments about 20 in. Variable Speed Scroll Saw:

I have been woodworking for years. Have done a lot of work on band saws and owned an fairly inexpensive scroll saw. Decided to step up after getting my wife's Xmas gift giving list.

Worked like a champ but delicate work was difficult without a light. Found a great, inexpensive one on Amazon. Now I am really set.

Comments about 20 in. Variable Speed Scroll Saw:

I use this for highly detailed carvings on antique, black forest clocks. The variable speed prevents damage to thin, brittle wood. The low vibration keeps from destroying hard to carve materials like bone. This is a great product from a reliable, well respected company.

Delta does not have a stand currently for that unit. Please contact them directly at 800-368-1487 to see if they are coming out with a stand in the future.

I modified the Dewalt stand. What you need to do is cut out the top front area where the table base sits ,add a plate and drill two holes for the base. I welded the plate on the stand but you could bolt it or rivet it in place. They do need to offer stand. I love the saw .
