Warranty for all Delta Machinery Products - Five Year Limited New Product Warranty (180 days for reconditioned products)
DELTA will repair or replace, at it’s expense, and it’s option, any new DELTA machine, machine part, or machine accessory which in normal use has proven to be defective in workmanship or material, provided that the customer returns the product prepaid to a DELTA factory service center or authorized service station with proof of purchase of the product within 5 years and provides DELTA with reasonable opportunity to verify the alleged defect by inspection. For all refurbished DELTA product, the warranty period is 180 days. DELTA will not be responsible for any asserted defect which has resulted from normal wear, misuse, abuse or repair or alteration made, or specifically authorized by anyone other than an authorized DELTA service facility or representative. Under no circumstances will DELTA be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from defective products. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty is DELTA’s sole warranty and sets forth the customer’s exclusive remedy, with respect to defective products; all other warranties, express or implied, whether of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise, are expressly disclaimed by DELTA.

This is really just a DeWalt 788. I'm a school shop teacher, I know not too many of us left, it's a shame. Anyway my school shop has six 788's The kids love working on them and I find them easy to teach on and also easy to change blades. I've always wanted one for myself. When I saw the offer for not only the saw but the lamp and stand too I figured it would never get any better. So I bought it. As I mentioned the lamp is hard to stay where you put it, I'm going to build a bracket to hold it better or perhaps re tap one of the two holes that the lamp attaches with. I have to check what's underneath before I drill. Would I buy it again? Yes and I'd recommend it to a friend.

Wanted to start a woodworking hobby, and thought I would start with a scroll saw. Did all the research, and this Delta proved to be the best bang for the buck. Runs smooth, very low vibration, 5 year warantee, and the included stand and light are extras on the very similar Dewalt 788.
The purchasing experience thru CPO was excellent. I was able to get my questions answered via online chat. Ordered and Shipped the same day!

This is a sweet saw. It was easy to put together. There was one small(easy to fix) problem one of the screws on the mounting bracket stripped out. went to hardware store paid a small amount for a new screw, problem solved.

the price is resonable love the way it runs easy to assembleruns quiet the only con i have it will not tilt all the way to the right making it diffult to cut a 45 degree angle to the right blade holder on the bottom stops it other than that its a great machine

Used for children's toys and fretwork. Saw is stable, has little vibration. Used some T9 on the table and waxed (3 coats) - material movement on the table is smooth. Adjusting the holddown takes a little practice. Couldn't center blade in table, had to ADJUST table mounts. While installing light, second screw stripped with light pressure applied.
Stand design could be improved - mounting casters on the rear leg isn't recommended - sheet metal not sturdy enough. Otherwise I'm pleased with the purchase.
