Comments about Delta 1 HP, 8-Speed Production Stock Feeder:
I am a professional woodworker and have managed production operations through the years. In every operation I have installed power feed machines. On table saws, shapers and other machines I have designed and fabricated for specific purposes. The Delta 4 roller machine I am using now that I am retired and have a shop "out back" has the 4 roller 8 speed mounted from above enabling the use of the feeder for cutting sheet goods like plywood. The machine is quite heavy, built solidly, powers up instantly and will run all day without a hitch. I find no fault with it whatever. It is heavy and the stand lock downs are a little short for me. A stronger hand would probably not notice. I use a 1/2" pvc tube 10 inches long and capped on one end to slip onto the handles to increase leverage. No complaints. To mount above I had a machine shop alter the stand ($100).
