Warranty for all Delta Machinery Products - Five Year Limited New Product Warranty (180 days for reconditioned products)
DELTA will repair or replace, at it’s expense, and it’s option, any new DELTA machine, machine part, or machine accessory which in normal use has proven to be defective in workmanship or material, provided that the customer returns the product prepaid to a DELTA factory service center or authorized service station with proof of purchase of the product within 5 years and provides DELTA with reasonable opportunity to verify the alleged defect by inspection. For all refurbished DELTA product, the warranty period is 180 days. DELTA will not be responsible for any asserted defect which has resulted from normal wear, misuse, abuse or repair or alteration made, or specifically authorized by anyone other than an authorized DELTA service facility or representative. Under no circumstances will DELTA be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from defective products. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty is DELTA’s sole warranty and sets forth the customer’s exclusive remedy, with respect to defective products; all other warranties, express or implied, whether of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise, are expressly disclaimed by DELTA.

Nice Planer much quieter than my previous Delta that was about 12 years old. I was looking for a shop model 15" but settled for this due to a smaller shop in my new home.I like the dial in thickness feature and the removal indicator . Both take away a lot of guess work for getting multible boards the same thickness.It planed 1" oak down in several passes without any strain.
The three blade head seems a little smoother on the surface.

having used the delta 12.5" planer for the last ten years i find this one to be a nice step up. it functions much the same but is simply more of what is best in the smaller planer. a fine machine for the diy'er.

Best Uses
I am working on making boxes out of woood cut and processed from my property. This has made possible to get wood of uniform dimensions. Except for hard fruit woods without straight grains it has worked flawlessly. For Walnut, oak,cedar the results require very little sanding as the finished cut is baby bottom smooth.

i really wanted the 15"planer but with limited shop space i had to go with the 13".i am very impressed with it's power and accuracy.i would highly recommend this to anyone with a small shop wanting big planer results.

Would not hesitate to recomend this planer over any other planer. Mine has only two knives but does excelent job.

Excellent planer with a very smooth cut. I like the 3 blades; they seem much improved over the two-blade setup. Curiously enough, there seems to be more snipe and less dust collection than with a previously used model 22-560. Overall, pleased.
