Q:How hard is it to remove the slag from the flux core wire weld, I have used different types of sticks example 6011,7014 ,7018 and the slag from them come back off in varrying degrees of difficulty some are a slag hammer and a wire brush and some require a grinder if I want to do an overlay or buildup . I am typically working outside where wind may be a problem.
A:To our knowledge, the flux core does wire weld does not have any slag in them
A:There is no slag from a flux core weld.

Q:Does the welder have a gas selenoid
A:Yes,it has a gas solenoid valve inside the welder,it opens up when the trigger is pulled and allows gas to flow thru gun cable and come out the nozzle.
