No, the fitting is crimped to the hose.

Answered on 5/3/2013 by Ken from Atlanta, GA
    • A:

You don't need to remove it. Just buy a quick-disconnect fitting and screw it onto the fitting supplied with the tool. They are inexpensive and can be found at most hardware stores, even Lowes.

      One example: http://www.amazon.com/Dixon-Valve-Coupling-DCP20B-Quick-Connect/dp/B00IIJB5YU/ref=sr_1_3/181-5285050-0984464?ie=UTF8&qid=1402145505&sr=8-3&keywords=pneumatic+quick+connect

Answered on 6/7/2014 by George the home mechanic from NY
    • A:

The usual connection is via quick connect fittings that screw on to the standard sized threads shown. Use some Teflon tape to get an air tight seal.

Choose the fitting type that matches your air tools and hose fittings; these connectors are available at all the big box stores, amazon, etc.

This product is a combined Inflation Gun, Chuck and Gauge. It is intended to allow you to inflate, deflate and check tire pressure using one hand. It does include an air compressor. But with the proper compressor it can be used to inflate a completely flat tubeless tire.

      A:

this is a pneumatic tool that clamps on to your valve stem. You attach the othe end to your compressor hose and pull the trigger to allow air to flow into the tire. When you let go, the air stops and you can check the pressure.
