Q:If I buy one of these generator units can edit it be hooked up when it is not hooked up to the grid??? Can I just turn a switch on and make it fun when I need power. I plan on putting up at my cabin where there is no power ther now. I am looking at model 40301a. Or any standalone generator that is usually hooked up to the grid I want to buy one of those to keep it outside. Can they work with out being hooked up to the GRID. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
