Bostitch Air Tools
Bostitch was founded in 1896 and originally known as the Boston Wire Stitcher Company. The name Bostitch was taken from the first syllables of the words “Boston” and “Stitcher,” which stitched together created the current company name. Bostitch can trace their roots in fastening tools to their original product, the Boston Wire Stitcher, a machine that used a coil of wire to fasten books, calendars, checks, hat boxes etc. From there, the company continued to develop a variety of staplers for industrial markets.
Bostitch introduced their first commercial coil nailer, the model N2, in 1965 and since then have been known in the power tool industry for quality air tools; ideal for framing, finishing, flooring, roofing, upholstery and more. Today Bostitch manufactures air and battery powered tools such as staplers, nailers, compressors, fasteners and accessories for a variety of consumer commercial and industrial applications.
Some Bostitch staplers and nailers offer features like balanced precision, low profile designs, non-mar tips, tool-free depth of drive adjustments, tool-free jam clearance, a tool-free selectable trigger and rear exhaust.
