Stanley Fastening Systems, L.P. 7 Year Limited Warranty (1 Year for Reconditioned Products) - U.S. and Canada Only
Effective December 1, 2005 Bostitch, L.P. warrants to the original retail purchaser that the product purchased is free from defects in material and workmanship, and agrees to repair or replace, at Bostitch's option, any defective Bostitch branded pneumatic stapler or nailer for a period of seven (7) years from date of purchase (one (1) year from the date of purchase for reconditioned pneumatic staplers or nailers and for new and reconditioned compressors and tools used in production applications). Warranty is not transferable. Proof of purchase date required. This warranty covers only damage resulting from defects in material or workmanship; it does not cover conditions or malfunctions resulting from normal wear, neglect, abuse, accident or repairs attempted or made by other than our national repair center or authorized warranty service centers. Driver blades, bumpers, o-rings, pistons and piston rings are considered normally wearing parts. For optimal performance of your Bostitch tool always use genuine Bostitch fasteners and replacement parts.
This warranty IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND with respect to compressors and tools used in production applications, limits to a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase all implied warranties INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. BOSTITCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. Great for all types of trim. Pleasantly suprised at how much holding power there was after nails were in. Put noisy as a con, but when compared to air nailers it's not really noisy. Easy to load nails, doesn't come with finish fuel, have to buy seperatly.

We received the first reconditioned nailer, and discovered there was something wrong with the piston. A month had passed since I purchased the nailer, but when I called customer service, they were quick to give me an RMA number to return the unit and sent out a new one immediately. I was very happy with the service and the new one works perfectly.

This nail gun is a great alternative to the orange brand. The fuel supply is compatible with that brand, though. Nails are readily available everywhere. This unit works great. I love not having a hose. The adjustments are simple, and it never jams.

The only things I don't like are the fact that bostitch brand nails jamb where 2 clips come together. And if it over drives the drive tip leave a big hole. But I can live with that for the ease of use.

Other than this being a jam-free, great nailer, a fact that some may not know is that it accepts Paslode gas cartridges as long as you swap out the top nozzle with a Bostitch one.

I opted to spend the extra cash for a gas nailer. After a bunch of research i decided to go with the Bostitch as opposed to the Passload - mostly because of the Li-Ion batteries and past experience with Bostitch. I couldn't find any Bostitch brand finish nailer gas but after reading on another review that the passload gas will work in it i took a chance and bought that (all i could find locally). The Passload gas does work perfect, you just need to snap the plastic top of the canaster down before loading it into the gun. I opted for tje angle nailer instead of the straight nailer since CPO was having such a good sale. The only downfall was i wanted a 16 gauge nailer but the angle nailers are only offered in 15 gauge. Not a huge deal, just leaves a slightly bigger hole to fill. Overall, you can't beat the convience of a gas nailer. I'm in the process of remodeling an entire house one room at a time and finally got sick of borrowing an air nailer, not go mention having to string the air hose throughout a house we're trying to live in and dealing with an air compressor. The gas nailer removes all of that so you can do what you really need to do with zero setup time - shoot nails!
